Naracoorte Library Officially Opens

The new Naracoorte Library has been officially opened!

Free community activities were held in the lead-up to the official opening ceremony, including bat-themed craft activities and comic book drawing sessions for children and teens, and an entertaining author talk by Mount Gambier adventurer Adam Branford.

The official opening ceremony was held out the front of the library and featured speeches by Mayor Erika Vickery OAM, lead architect Brett Julian, and Mossop Construction + Interiors' regional manager Craig Williamson.

Mayor Vickery was joined by the Member for MacKillop Mr Nick McBride MP and local children to cut the ribbon to officially open the new library.

Invited guests from around the region and further afield then enjoyed a light meal in the heart of the new library.
